Located in the Trawden conservation area near Colne, this 16th-century home is undergoing a carefully considered refurbishment that brings together heritage sensitivity and modern comfort. The design improves energy efficiency with new windows, doors, and insulation, while respecting the building’s historic character.
Internally, the scheme includes a reconfigured kitchen, dining area, and living room, featuring an oak-panelled wall and upgraded finishes throughout. We produced design visuals, detailed plans, elevations, and tender documentation to support client decisions and ensure a smooth procurement process. The home enjoys sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, and the refurbishment aims to better frame these views and connect them to the interior through thoughtful spatial improvements.
